Jean-Pierre Latere, PhD

Before founding EsoBiotec, Jean-Pierre served as Chief Operating Officer of Celyad Oncology where he supported transfer to clinics (Europe and USA) of two autologous and two allogeneic CAR T products.

He started his career at Johnson & Johnson (Belgium and USA) where he worked on development of pharmaceuticals then on medical devices. He then moved to cell therapies in 2008 at Cardio Biosciences where he supported R&D and clinical development (Phase 2 and Phase 3 with over 150 patients treated) of C-Cure (engineered mesenchymal stem cells to treat heart failure) before leading Business Development.

He was Science & Technology Global Leader at Dow Corning serving Healthcare and Beauty Care markets. Jean-Pierre holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Liege (Belgium) and was postdoc at Michigan State University (USA).
